If you regularly keep up with Livingston Energy Group’s blog, you certainly know that New York State is one of a handful of states leading the nation in encouraging, incentivizing, and soon requiring electric vehicles (EV) and electric vehicle charging stations.
In January, Governor Cuomo announced a “Make-Ready” Program for electric vehicles to promote “responsible electric vehicle charging station deployment,” in addition to over 20,000 rebates available to New Yorkers to purchase electric cars under the Drive Clean Rebate initiative. In July, Governor Cuomo announced that New York would invest over $700 million into further developing EV infrastructure statewide, funding over 50,000 new Level 2 charging stations and 1,500 DCFC charging stations within the next five years.
Livingston Energy Group, LLC, a clean energy company primarily working to install EV charging stations statewide, jumped on the opportunity to work with New York State as soon as it could, working with NYSERDA and National Grid. As the Make-Ready program expands this fall, Livingston is excited to begin work with numerous other state utilities across all regions, including New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG), Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation (RG&E), Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation (Cen Hud), Consolidated Edison, Inc. (ConEd), and Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (ORU).
If you are a commercial or real estate property owner looking to upgrade and future-proof your sites and establish a presence as a sustainable business or development, please sign up for our FREE webinar in collaboration with National Grid taking place at the end of this month to learn more about current incentives and rebates applicable to you!
Electric Vehicle sales have grown more than 80% over the last few years, as automakers expand their range, performance, and style—and as recharging becomes quicker and easier. Shoppers looking for zero-emissions driving now have an expansive list of vehicles to choose from, with a wide variety of body styles and several different price points.
Shopping malls, restaurants, businesses, and apartment complexes work hard to meet the demand for this growing consumer market and attract them by alleviating their range anxiety with charging stations.
Join us for an important, free webinar to learn about this new market opportunity and how your business can take advantage of attractive rebate and funding programs.
The webinar will be hosted by Steven Coons of Livingston Energy with special guest Tim Ferguson, Senior Program Manager of the EV-NY program for National Grid.
